Whether you're a therapist, mental health professional, clinic or business owner, student, or someone exploring the idea of building a practice, this workshop offers practical tools, insight, and lessons learned from Dr. Rylie Moore and Dr. Morag Yule, co-owners of Therapy Suites—one of the GTA’s leading therapy spaces and collaborative communities supporting mental health clinicians and practitioners from fields such as naturopathy, speech-language pathology, and beyond.

Through modules, participants will explore the practical steps involved in building a therapy practice, with real-world insights, discussion, and applied learning.

The founder and director of Ontario Sex Therapy, Dr. Morag Yule received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and completed her clinical residency at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. Dr. Yule has been involved in sex research since 2005, providing psychotherapy and assessments for sexual difficulties since 2010.

  • For virtual workshops, you can use the Register Now option above. It will redirect you to our Eventbrite page, where you can register for the event.

    After registering on Eventbrite, you will receive an email shortly after from our team with instructions for the day of the event.

  • For the in-person workshop, an invoice will be sent to you after registration. Payment can be made by e-transfer, or cash at the door on the day of the event.

    For the virtual workshop, registration and payment are processed through Eventbrite. Eventbrite typically accepts a variety of payment methods, including major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, and digital payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, depending on your device and location.

  • Participants will gain practical insight into the key considerations involved in building and running a successful therapy clinic. This includes an overview of important financial and legal factors to consider when setting up a practice, as well as guidance on systems and tools that can help streamline day-to-day operations.

    The workshop will also explore how to grow a clinic over time, including hiring and supporting associates, managing the client intake process, and building workflows that allow your practice to run smoothly. In addition, we will discuss the leadership skills and mindset required to lead a team and cultivate a healthy professional environment.

    Overall, the workshop is designed to provide practical lessons, real-world examples, and thoughtful insights to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence in building or growing your practice.

  • The virtual workshop will be hosted on Zoom. Participants will receive the meeting link prior to the event. A standard computer with a stable internet connection should be sufficient to join and participate in the session using Zoom. If you have not used Zoom before, the platform is easy to access through your web browser or by downloading the Zoom application.

  • We may offer individual consultations on a limited basis for those who would like further guidance beyond the workshop. These sessions provide an opportunity to explore your specific goals, questions, or challenges in more depth.
